Cebu Pacific sucks!

This incident happened two months ago.

My dad died last January 31, at around 12:30am. I received a call from my sister at around 3:30am, so nagmamadali akong umuwi sa bahay para magligpit ng gamit at kumuha na rin ng ticket online para makauwi ako ng Puerto Princesa that morning. I made an online reservation at around 4:32am (January 31, 2009). Okey naman, mabilis talaga kumuha ng ticket sa cebu pacific kapag my credit card. Pinili kong flight ay 8:30am January 31, 2009. Okey naman, konting click, print… at may ticket na kami ng pamangkin ko, p4,273.92 yung total price ng dalawang tickets. Ooopps! Pag-print ng ticket, yung booking date na lumabas ay January 30, 2009…! At yung flight date ko ay naging February 1, 2009…! Patay! Pano yun..?! Okey lang, madali para pumunta ng airport at ipaayos sa ticketing outlet nila dun eh naubos na lang kasi yung load ko sa celfone sa katatawag sa letseng number nila, 702-0888! Bwisit talaga, kahit 48 yrs ka nang on queue eh wala atang sasagot.

Flight Date: February 1, 2009 (antay pa ba ako ng 1 night eh emergency nga, namatay ang tatay ko! Tang ina!)

So pagdating sa airport, diretso ako sa ticketing outlet nila, maaga pa around 6:30am… Nakipag-usap kaagad ako at pinaliwanag ko kung ano ang nangyari, sabi sa akin ng staff nila, si John Aeyar C. Morgo, hindi raw nya ako kayang sagutin, kung gusto ko raw sumakay ng eroplano nila, magbayad daw ako ng Re-booking penalty at No-show fee! Kasapwangan ng cebu pacific di ba!!! Umiiyak na ako dun sa counter nila, mixed emotion siguro at sa sobrang asar! Putang ina talaga! So sige, bayad! Kainin nyo ang p2,240 na penalties para sa dalawang ticket! Ayun, nakauwi rin ng Palawan.

Last February 27, 2009, pumunta ako sa main office ng cebu pacific sa domestic road… Nagtanong sa tatanga-tangang receptionist nila at lumabas naman yung representative from customer service, Monette Acor. Kwento ng nangyari. Paulit-ulit… Sabi nya sa akin, there’s no way raw na makapag book ako ng ticket on the same day kasi the system would block it, and their website would prompt a message “24 hr ruling…”. I swear, walang prompt na binigay sa akin yung system. Sabi nya, baka nagkamali daw ako at na click ko yung prompt, dahil automatic daw na next day ang mabo-book na flight, kaya siguro naging Feb 1, 2009 yung flight ko. FINE! Sabi ko naman, eh bakit naging January 30, 2009 yung purchase date dun sa print-out, hindi na nya maipaliwanag! May mga sinasabi na syang system glitch, GMT ek-ek! Nyeta, eh kaya hindi nag prompt ng 24-hr ruling sa aking yung sytem nila dahil GMT yung gamit ng system (meaning January 30, 2009 pa GTM). At kaya nakapag book ako ng January 31, 2009, REAL TIME!!! Hindi rin kami nagkasundo. Ayaw daw I-waive ng mga boss nya yung penalties!, tang-inang katakawan sa pera!

Binigay ko yung contact number and address ko sa kanya, binigay pa yung pangalan ng boss nya, Ivan Henry Gaw! Ayun, hanggang ngayon, walang nagpapaliwanag, at ang mga walanghiya…!, wala man lang tumawag sa akin! Anong klaseng serbisyo naman to ng cebu pacific!!!

Hi, im glad I found ur blog, as in CEBU PACIFIC is CEBU PALPAK. similar case I paid 4 tickets to MNL-SG, they book me instead of SG-MNL pano naman yun dba at same date pa. kakagigil talaga sobra, i cocomplain ko sila sa DTI. I can't let them get away kc d biro ang nakacharge sa credit card ko. tnx for this post.
